Associates, Inc. has immediate openings for full-time software and hardware support
technicians.
Primary job responsibilities
for software support involve on-site training and installation, in-house phone support/troubleshooting,
as well as program testing and documentation.
Responsibilities for hardware technicians include phone support, troubleshooting
hardware and network support issues, and staging systems. Candidates should be detail-oriented with excellent problem solving,
decision-making, and communication skills (both verbal and written). Must be able
to learn and work autonomously and also as part of a team. Experience and/or familiarity
with county government a bonus. Computer
skills required; database experience ideal. Some travel required to a wide variety
of destinations. Excellent starting salary and benefits including health/life insurance,
Simple IRA, travel bonuses and per diem, opportunity for profit sharing, paid vacation,
holidays, and sick time. Degree preferred, but not required.
Positions are currently
available in the following departments:
- APEX – supports our Document
Indexing and Imaging software, iTax and iDoc web portals, Marriage License Program,
and the School Meal Accounting System
- PROGRESS – supports our county
taxation software, including Tax Billing, Tax Assessment, Cash Receipting, Motor
Vehicles, and Vehicle Registration modules
- VISIONS – supports our Financial
Package, which is used by School Districts
and Counties across the country
- SYSTECH – provides hardware
and network support to our Counties and Schools as well as to many local businesses
